Q: What is SocalKiatuners?

A: Socalkiatuners is a group of individuals in Southern California that get together to work on our cars and have fun.

Q: Why Kia's?

A: We believe Kia's are great cars, and can be modified just like any other car.

Q: How do you join SoCalKiaTuners?

A: We welcome anyone to come out to work meets/ car shows with their Kia! Once you get to know how the group runs, you can fill out an application to become an official team member or KiaSpeed2.

Q: What is Kiaspeed2?

A: Kiaspeed2 is a community of Kia-driving tuners. KiaSpeed2's official car club is a fast growing club that sponsors us at some events, paying for cost to enter the show for any club member.

Q: Why are we affiliated whit Kiaspeed2?

A: Kiaspeed2 is a larger community with much more going on than here locally in Southern California . We believe that it is important to not only have our own website, but to also be involved with a larger Kia community, and share with that community, what is taking place locally.

Q: Does it cost anything to join SoCalKiaTuners?

A: To come to meets, there is no cost, nor is their a monthly membership fee. To apply to be a official team member of Kiaspeed2, there is a one time fee of $25. This money goes toward materials that you get once a member. Materials include: 2 Kiaspeed2 side decals and 1 large Kiaspeed2 banner.

Q: What is the first thing I should do to get involved?

A: The first thing anyone should do is come out to a work meet. Even if you have nothing you want to do to your ride at this moment, work meets are the best place to get to know members and obtain ideas for your car! Remember, if you do not desire to come to work meets, you may not get to know the members very well.

Q: What if I don't want to apply for membership to team Kiaspeed2?

A: You are still welcome to come out to events! If you desire to come out to car shows, we highly recommend that you join as a team member, due to the fact that Kiaspeed2 sometimes will sponsor the cost of car show entry, the money sponsored will go toward SCKT future shows, events and website costs.
